  • Chile – Geo-Marine Technology provided offshore support and survey reporting for port upgrade projects in Flamenco and Obispito Bays, Chile.  Work was done under contract from Williamson & Associates and included sidescan sonar, subbottom profiler, and seismic data acquisition to investigate the area’s bathymetry, structural features, and potential hazards.
  • Canada – Geo-Marine Technology’s Vice President Beau Pallister has been dispatched to Prince Rupert, British Columbia to act as client representative for WorleyParsons Canada Services Ltd. on the Pacific Northwest LNG Project.  GMT also worked with Fugro Pelagos, Inc. to provide data analysis and survey reporting for the inshore portion of the geophysical survey on this project.
  • Italy – GMT geoscientist Spencer Paddock has been dispatched to Italy to assist Sub-Seatech in surveying proposed landing sites for the world’s longest subsea power cable.  In addition, he’s been handling acquisition and quality control of sidescan sonar and subbottom profiler data while learning EIVA NaviPac software and serving as English-Italian translator onboard the survey vessel.
