September 2014

September will allow GMT personnel a variety of opportunities to work offshore and continue training and learning new marine hydrographic and geophysical data platforms. Feel free to contact us to see how we can put our new (and tried and true) skills to work for you! Here’s what’s going on around the office:

  •  Mr. John Reitman will be heading to Norway to assist with a survey after he gets off of Montana’s Smith River
  •  Mr. Beau Pallister will be in the office and available for consulting until further notice
  • The rest of our team will be focused on completing our portion of a desktop study for two new fiber optic cable routes from Newfoundland to the Grand Banks in the north Atlantic
  • Mr. Eric Lavering and Mr. Spencer Paddock have joined the fewer than 5% of surveyors to have passed the 2014 test to become HYPACK® and HYSWEEP® Certified Hydrographers. Congratulations gents, and good luck hanging those on the mantle next to your geology diploma’s and BOSIET certifications.
  • Mr. Dushan Arumugam of Geomatics Data Solutions is slated to make his first personal visit to Geo-Marine’s world headquarters in Missoula.
