Spring 2014

With several large scale survey reports in the works and a revolving door of people providing offshore survey support, we’ve got all hands on deck heading into May. That said, we’re making good headway towards our deadlines and will have some resources freeing up, so don’t hesitate to contact us about your project needs!

Here’s what we’ve been up to lately:

  • Trinidad – Supplied two offshore geophysicists in support of Fugro Survey Carribean’s efforts mapping hazards to exploration and navigation in the Gulf of Paria. In all, GMT was pleased to process and interpret two and a half months of sidescan and magnetometer data while onboard the vessel.
  • British Columbia, Canada – Many of our personnel have rotated onto vessels in support of a large LNG pipeline route survey along the BC coast, and we’re now in the thick of data interpretation and reporting here at GMT world headquarters in Missoula.
  • Cook Inlet, Alasaka – Mr. Rietman and Mr. Erik Pallister recently returned from Alaska where they were assisting with 2D seismic and sidescan sonar survey. Now that they’re back, they’re working on post processing the data and analyzing geohazards in the area.
