Panama – Geo-Marine Technology assisted Fugro Pelagos, Inc. to analyze and report on geophysical data from a port upgrade project near Colon, Panama. Sidescan sonar, subbottom profiler, and magnetometer data were all analyzed to determine depth to bedrock and possible seabed obstructions.

Texas – Geoscientists at GMT’s Missoula, Montana headquarters provided data consultation and survey reporting services for Fugro Pelagos, Inc in their geophysical survey of the Matagorda Bay shipping channel. Magnetometer data was analyzed alongside Chirp and Pipeliner subbottom profilers to map subsurface geologic strata and determine the location and depth of the channel’s many buried pipelines.
